高铝球简介
高铝球是氧化铝球的一个类别，由于其氧化铝含量较高而被简称为高铝球。高铝球根据氧化铝含量又可细分为90、92、95、99等系列。高铝球由于其具有高强度、高硬度、高耐磨性，比重大、体积小、耐高温、耐腐蚀、无污染等优异特性而被广泛的运用于不同类型的陶瓷、瓷釉、玻璃、化工等等工厂的厚硬材质精加工和深加工。

高铝球用途
高铝球的使用者以陶瓷厂为主，目前有数据显示，使用鹅卵石(天然球石)+10
高铝球(φ35MM)研磨稀泥，对比只用鹅卵石，能缩短15的研磨时间;使用中铝球+30高铝球(φ35MM)研磨稀泥，对比只用中铝球，能缩短30左右的研磨时间，单纯以节省下来的电费计算，大概2年时间就能把因为使用高铝球而高出的成本"省"回来。有个别厂家的报告显示，球磨机用高铝球高铝衬砖代替中铝研磨陶瓷原料，球石损耗不到中铝球的三分之一，研磨时间缩短20，产品质量更加稳定，而且高铝产品使用时间更长，不需经常更换球衬，整体使用性价比更高。用高铝球研磨原料，不仅能节省电费，提高产量，而且提高机械使用效率，对机械设备有很大的保护作用。除陶瓷行业外，石英、化工等行业也在陆续尝试、使用高铝球进行生产。其中石英厂主要用于生产硅微粉，实践证明，如生产325目的硅微粉，用高铝球替代石英球研磨，能显着提高产量和产品的质量，如白度、均匀度等，而且由于损耗速度没有石英球快，就省下了添加球石的人力和时间成本。目前使用高铝球遇到的主要问题是，高铝球由于其硬度高，脆性也大，干磨容易造成球石开裂、球石表面坑坑洼洼，从而导致磨耗非常高的现象，现在只能用出厂前对球石进行抛光的方法，挑出开裂或磨耗高的球石，尽量减少顾客的损失。
