工业企业电力负荷对供电可靠性的要求不同，为使供配电系统达到技术上合理和经济上的节约，故将电力负荷分为三类。

类负荷：中断发电会造成人身伤亡危险或重大设备损坏且难以修复，或给政治上和经济上造成重大损失者。

根据上述电力负荷性质，对供配电提出基本要求如下：

一类负荷：要求采用两个独立的电源供电。所谓“两个独立电源”是指其中一个电源发生事故或因检修而停电，不至于影响另一个电源继续供电，以保证供电的连续性。
