2507（UNS S32750）双相不锈钢的强度及抗腐蚀能力较强，主要用于化学加工、石油化工和海底设备。它具有较强的抗氯化物腐蚀能力，较高的导热性和较低的热膨胀系数。较高的铬、钼及氮含量使它具有很高的抗斑蚀、裂隙腐蚀及一般腐蚀的能力。它的冲击强度也很高,2507合金不适宜用在高于570℃的温度环境下,长期处在这样的环境下,它的韧性会降低。
